A 79-year-old woman was listed in grave condition after she was struck by a pick-up truck in Midtown, police said. The incident happened at Second Avenue near East 58th Street.   The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she remained in critical condition.

Education philanthropist Stephanie Dains, 69, was fatally struck by an SUV while crossing an intersection in the Upper West Side, officials said.
