A 79-year-old woman was listed in grave condition after she was struck by a pick-up truck in Midtown, police said. The incident happened at Second Avenue near East 58th Street.
The woman, whose name has not yet been released, was taken to NewYork Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she remained in critical condition.
The driver, Michael Truszowski, 63, remained at the scene. He was charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian, police said.
