Female Pedestrian Killed By Car In Upper West Side

Education philanthropist Stephanie Dains, 69, was fatally struck by an SUV while crossing an intersection in the Upper West Side, officials said. Dains was crossing West 75th Street and Broadway against the lights when an Infiniti SUV struck her, police said.

Dains was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The 18-year-old male driver remained at the scene. No charges or arrests were made.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
