Cyclist Critically Injured After Dump Truck Accident In Brooklyn

A 35-year-old male cyclist was critically injured after he was struck by a dump truck driver in downtown Brooklyn, officials said. The accident happened at Jay and Tillary streets around 7 a.m. on Tuesday.   The victim was taken to Methodist Hospital with head and leg trauma. He is likely to survive, officials said.

David Pajarito-Mendez, 38, of Brighton Beach, was fatally struck by a hit-and run van in Morrisania, Bronx on Monday evening, officials said.
