Three men were killed in two separate car crashes on Monday, officials said.   Carlos Diaz, 39, of the Bronx, and his 39-year-old passenger, whose name has not been released, were killed when their white BMW jumped a guardrail and struck a tree on the Grand Central Parkway in East Elmhurst, police said.   The

Po Chu Ng, 52, was killed when a black SUV struck her while she was crossing Sixth Avenue and West 30th Street around 5:15 p.m.   A 27-year-old male driver was turning left when Ng was struck. The driver remained at the scene.   Ng was transported to Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Five police officers were injured after their police vehicles collided into one another in Brownsville, Brooklyn, officials said.   A marked police car and an unmarked police car were responding to an incident involving a foot pursuit when the collision happened on Livonia Avenue and Thomas S. Boyland Street around 2 a.m., police said.  

One person was injured after a car crash into a salon in the Bronx on Tuesday morning, officials said. According to reports, a silver sedan hit a parked car and then collided into a storefront on 169th Street near Tinton Avenue in the Bronx.   Passerby pulled the bleeding female driver out of the vehicle.

Two people were killed and a child was injured after a chain-reaction crash on the Wantagh State Parkway in Long Island, officials said.   Reina Olivera, 33, was driving her Nissan Murano on the left lane of the highway when she was rear-ended by a Honda CRV around 11 p.m. Tuesday, according to reports.

Two people were seriously injured after a tractor trailer crashed into multiple cars and into a guardrail, officials said.   The truck overturned on the Cross Bronx Expressway near East 177th Street in Parkchester around 12:15 p.m., police said.   The two injured victims were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to survive,
