One Person Injured After Car Crashes Into Bronx Salon

One person was injured after a car crash into a salon in the Bronx on Tuesday morning, officials said. According to reports, a silver sedan hit a parked car and then collided into a storefront on 169th Street near Tinton Avenue in the Bronx.

Passerby pulled the bleeding female driver out of the vehicle. The driver, whose identity has not been released, was taken to Lincoln Hospital. No pedestrians were injured, police said.

The crash caused the scaffolding of the building to collapse. Responders worked to remove the scaffolding and vehicles from the sidewalk after the incident.
