A 64-year-old man was seriously injured after being hit by an MTA bus on the Lower East Side on Monday, officials said. The man, who has not been identified, was using a cane to apparently cross Jackson Street when the M22 bus made a left turn at Madison and Jackson Streets and struck the man.

A woman was struck by a New York University bus at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and 10th Street in Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon, according to reports. The woman, who was identified as being in her mid-30s, was taken away on a stretcher in an ambulance. The extent of her injuries was not known.
