Victim, Driver Identified In Fatal Barclays Car Crash

Alejandro Moran-Marin, 35, was the bicyclist identified in the fatal car accident on Flatbush and Fourth Avenues, near Barclays Center, on Monday.

An out-of-control car hit Moran-Marin on his bicycle head on and launched him into the air, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe that the driver of the out-of-control Honda SUV, Claudio Rodriguez, 37, may have had a seizure during the time of the collision.

The car accident also involved a gray Toyota, which the Honda hit moments prior to the impact with Moran-Marin, and a black Mitsubishi, which the Honda hit after the bicyclist.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
