Seven People Injured In East Flatbush Crash

Seven people were injured in after a car struck an unmarked police car and attempted to evade police pursuit, officials said. The vehicle struck the unmarked police car at Farragut Road and East 49th Street and tried to drive off.

 

After the vehicle was being chased, it lost control and careened into seven vehicles and a pedestrian near Farragut Road and Albany Avenue, officials said.

 

The car collided with the rear of a truck driven by Rocherfort Desir and continued to move forward until three more vehicles were struck in a parking lot.

 

The seven injured victims were taken to Kings County Hospital Center. Six people sustained minor injuries while the pedestrian was treated for serious injuries.
