An 11-year-old girl was injured after she was struck by a van in Forest Hills, Queens, officials said. The girl walked into traffic near 74th Avenue when she wa struck by a van driving eastbound on Metropolitan Avenue, officials said.
The girl was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where she was treated for head trauma. She is listed in stable condition, police said.
The driver stayed at the scene. No immediate arrests or charges have been made.
