Elderly Man Killed In Bronx Hit-And-Run

A 72-year-old man was fatally struck by a car in Wakefield, Bronx, officials said. The man was crossing the intersection of Nereid and Richardson Avenues when a black Ford Fusion made a left-turn and struck him, officials said.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center where he was treated for leg and neck injuries. He was later pronounced dead, officials said.

The vehicle fled the scene.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
