Woman Dies Days After Staten Island Car Crash

Melodee Gabler, 61, of Long Beach, has died from her injuries after she was involved in a car crash on Staten Island, officials said.

A 61-year-old female driver of a 2016 Hyundai Tuscon was heading westbound on Westcott Boulevard and Crowell Avenue when she struck a 2013 Honda Civic, driven by Gabler.

The Hyundai driver, whose identity was not released, refused medical attention. Gabler was transported to Richmond University Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries five days later.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
