Man Fatally Struck In Bronx Hit-And-Run Crash

A man was struck by two cars, one fatally, after he was crossing the street at Bronxdale Avenue and Barnes Avenue in Morris Park, Bronx, officials said. One of the drivers fled the scene.

The victim, whose name has not been released, was crossing the street when a light-colored van struck him on Brookdale Avenue, police said. The man was thrown into the air from the impact and struck by a dark-green Honda Odyssey.

The Honda’s driver, a 33-year-old woman, remained at the scene.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, officials said.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
