Hit-And-Run Driver Surrenders After Borough Park Crash

Armando Mino, 43, surrendered to the police after he fled the scene of a car accident that seriously injured a 6-year-old boy, police said. Mino allegedly struck the boy while he was crossing Fort Hamilton Parkway at 41st Street with his father and younger brother.

 

Luis Amen-Dano sustained serious injuries from the crash. The boy was taken to Maimonides Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.

 

Mino was charged with second degree assault and leaving the scene of an accident.
