Three people were injured in a car crash involving an NYPD squad car that had its red lights and sirens running, officials said.
Two officers were driving southbound on Graham Avenue in response to a call for help. They passed through the intersection at Maujer Street when a westbound Nissan sedan T-boned their car, officials said.
The Nissan had the light, but the driver should have stopped for an emergency vehicle, police said.
The two officers had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were put on stretchers and taken to a local hospital. The Nissan’s driver was also taken to the hospital.
No charges or arrests have been made.
