Several People Injured In New Hyde Park Bus Stop Crash

Multiple people were injured after a car slammed into a bus stop in New Hyde Park, officials said.

 

The driver, a 92-year-old woman, slammed into the bus stop on the eastbound side of Union Turnpike near New Hyde Park Road and the Lake Success Shopping Center, according to reports.

 

At least three people were seen being transported to an ambulance. The driver was injured in the accident. They were taken to Northwell Health North Shore University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, officials said.

 

No charges were made against the driver.
