Pedestrian Killed In West Side Highway Car Crash

A 22-year-old man was killed after he was struck by car while attempting to cross the West Side Highway in Hell’s Kitchen, officials said. According to a preliminary investigation, the man climbed over a divider and stepped into oncoming traffic on the highway.

The man was found unconscious and unresponsive at the scene, officials said. He was rushed to Saint Luke’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The driver, whose identity has not been released, remained at the scene of the crash. No immediate charges or arrests have been made.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
