Man Dies From Head-On Car Crash In Harlem

A man, whose identity has not been released, was killed after he crashed his car into a 2013 Buick Century on the Willis Avenue Bridge in Harlem, officials said.

The victim was driving a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant from the Bronx to Harlem when he entered onto the wrong side of the highway. He collided head-on with another driver, Peter Diaz-Cargulia, 28, of Raleigh, N.C.

The Galant’s driver was taken to Lincoln Hospital, where he died from his injuries, officials said. Diaz-Cargulia and two of his passengers were transported to Lincoln Hospital with minor injuries.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
