Hit-And-Run Driver Strikes Child In Borough Park

A 6-year-old boy was hit by a hit-and-run driver in Borough Park, Brooklyn on Wednesday, officials said. The accident occurred at 41st Street and Fort Hamilton Parkway at 4:15 p.m.

 

According to surveillance footage, a minivan was seen slamming into the boy on the street. The driver of the van stopped his car after the impact, and got out of the vehicle to check the damage. The driver then got back into the car and drove off.

 

The boy was taken to Maimonides Medical Center for a hip injury. He is in serious but stable condition.
