A bicyclist was critically injured after a garbage truck struck him in Brooklyn, police said. The cyclist, a man in his 40s, was traveling south on Albany Avenue near Lefferts Avenue in Crown Heights when the commercial green garbage truck struck him.
The victim was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he is listed in critical condition, officials said.
The truck’s driver remained at the scene.
