Cyclist Critically Injured After Two Car Collisions

A bicyclist was critically injured after he crashed into an open door, launched off his bike onto the street and was struck by another car in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, officials said.

 

The 33-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was riding along Graham Avenue near Scholes Street when he slammed into a open door of a legally parked car, police said. The victim flew off his bike and onto the street where a second car struck him.

 

He was transported to Woodhull Hospital in critical condition.

 

No immediate charges or arrests have been made.
