A 5-year-old child, whose identity has not been released, was struck by a car in Woodstock, Bronx, on Tuesday, officials said.
The child has ran into the street through parked cars at 586 Timpson Place around 5 p.m. when the car crash happened.
The 35-year-old male driver was apprehended at the scene for driving with a suspended license, according to reports.
The child was transported to Lincoln Medical Center where he or she is being treated for a skull fracture. The child is expected to survive.
