Car Crash Injures Two After Bus Collision In Rockaways

Two people were injured after a car rear-ended a city bus in Far Rockaway, Queens, officials said. The accident occurred at Beach Channel Drive and Beach 67th Street at 2 p.m.

The driver of the car collided into the back of a Q35 bus while it was stopped at a bus stop, officials said.

The impact of the bus caused a child, a 5-year-old boy, who was in a car seat inside the car, to be ejected from the car. The boy was treated at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center with head and neck injuries, police said.

Another passenger in the car was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition, officials said.
