Four Workers Injured After Car Crashes Into L.I. Building

Four construction workers were injured after an out-of-control car crashed into a building under renovation in Long Island, officials said. The incident happened at Ocean Avenue and West Main Street in Patchogue around 1 p.m. on Thursday.

 

The vehicle managed to travel 20 feet inside the structure before coming to a stop.

 

One of the victims was airlifted to a hospital. The identities or the condition of the other injured victims was not immediately known.

 

An investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
