Driver Charged In Brooklyn Crash That Killed Cyclist

Thomas Groarke, 24, was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and driving while intoxicated for the car crash death of bicyclist Sean Ryan, 17, on Sunday in Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn, officials said.

According to reports, Groarke drove his Honda Accord across the painted median and struck Ryan on his bicycle at around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday.

Emergency responders found Ryan unconscious and unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
