Staten Island Driver That Caused 10-Car Crash Dies

Barbara Capone, 78, of Staten Island, has died from her injuries after she caused a fatal 10-car crash last weekend. She has been at the hospital in critical condition following the crash.

The crash killed John Gunshefski, 75, of Bayonne, N.J. His wife, Joanne, was listed in critical condition with several injuries. Thirteen others were injured.

According to police, Capone was involved in a minor accident before she drove off at a high rate of speed. She then crashed into several vehicles stopped at a light. The collision caused her car to fly into the air and hit more vehicles before landing in an intersection.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
