Man Fatally Struck By Two Cars After Crossing Whitestone Expressway

A 51-year-old man, whose name was not released, was killed after he crossed the Whitestone Expressway on foot and was struck by two cars in Queens Thursday morning, officials said. The victim was crossing four northbound lanes near the Linden Place exit when a Jeep struck him, police said.

The impact caused the man to fall into the path of another car, a dark colored sedan, which fled the scene, officials said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jeep’s 56-year-old driver stayed at the scene. No charges were filed.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
