Noah Goldstein, 21, a recent graduate of Fordham University, was found dead on the street after a hit-and-run driver fatally struck him near Columbus Circle on Saturday morning, officials said.
Goldstein was crossing Broadway near West 61st Street around 3:30 a.m. when the vehicle crashed into him and continued on, police said. According to police sources, he may have been crossing outside of the crosswalk,. It was unclear whether he was traveling with or against the light.
Goldstein was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators said they were looking into several traffic cameras to identify the driver.
