Boy Critically Injured In Car Accident In Staten Island

A 9-year-old boy was struck by a car while cross the street to board his school bus, officials said. The boy was crossing the street at Targee Street and Broad Street at around 7:50 a.m. when he was struck by the driver, police said.

 

He was transported to Richmond University Medical Center and was listed in critical condition, officials said.

 

The driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed, police said.
