Two people were injured in a head-on crash on County Road 105, near Indian Island County Park, in Long Island, police said.
Reynel Bullock, 24, of Riverhead was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital and Shawn Downs, 48, of Hauppauge, was rushed by ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, officials said. Both men sustained non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Bullock was driving a 2015 Cadillac sedan south on County Road 105 at around 8:30 a.m., when he crossed over the center median into the northbound lane, according to a police investigation. The vehicle continued south in the northbound lanes before striking a guardrail and crashing a 2015 Chevrolet Express van driven by Downs, officials said.
No arrests or charges have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
