Jean Verdesoto, 32, an off-duty cop was slapped with alleged drunk driving charges after he struck two pedestrians with his BMW in Inwood on Sunday morning, police said. The incident happened around 10th Avenue and West 206th Street at around 5 a.m.
He struck two men, ages 28 and 26, police said. They were taken to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Allen for treatment, although they had no visible injuries, officials said.
Verdesoto refused to take a blood-alcohol test and was charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
