Queens Car Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Seriously Injured

One person died and two others were seriously injured in a car accident in Elmhurst, Queens on Sunday night, police said.

The car was speeding on the Grand Central Parkway when the driver lost control of the car and hit the support beams of the 94th Street overpass.

The driver, Francisco Flores, 42, of Bayside, Queens, was ejected from the car. He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, officials said. His name has not been released.

There were two other passengers in the car. A 46-year-old man was treated for serious injuries at Elmhurst Hospital, and a 37-year-old woman was transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Queens, where she was listed in serious condition.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
