Man Arrested In StuyTown Hit-And-Run Car Crash

Taxi driver John Bangura, 68, has been arrested in connection with the fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a woman outside the Stuyvesant Town housing complex. He has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in a death.

The victim, Kenya Flores, 44, of the Bronx, reportedly laid down in the street before she was struck and dragged by the hit-and-run taxi cab on Saturday at 3:41 a.m. Police found Flores lying in the bus lane between East 16th Street and 17th Street on 1st Avenue. She was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

For grieving families, it’s important that a full investigation be conducted. For that, a wise first step is to discuss the matter with a legal professional experienced in car accidents.
