Lin Qinyun, 64, was killed when an SUV struck her as it backed into a parking spot in Corona, Queens on Friday morning, police said. Qinyun was trying to cross 113th Street near 37th Avenue when a 2003 Ford Expedition struck her.

She was taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition. She was later pronounced dead from her injuries.

The driver of the SUV, a 54-year-old woman whose name has not been released, stayed at the scene. She was not expected to be charged.
