Diane Lamache, 26, was killed in a car accident after her drunken and stoned boyfriend slammed his car into a tractor trailer in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Eloy Perez, 27, the boyfriend of Lamache, was driving along Vandervoort Avenue when he crashed into a tractor trailer pulling out of a parking lot.
Lamache suffered severe head trauma, police said. She was rushed to Woodhull Hospital where attempts to save her were futile.
Perez was also taken to Woodhull Hospital where he had a blood alcohol level that was above acceptable levels. A paramedic and cop also reported that he smelled of marijuana, according to a criminal complaint.
Perez was held in jail with a $50,000 bail after he was arraigned on manslaughter and other charges.
