Two people were seriously injured after being extricated from their car, which was wedged under a tractor trailer on Friday morning in Bay Shore, Long Island, according to reports.
Billy David Goodman, 57, of Arkansas, was driving his tractor trailer on Sweeneydale Avenue and attempted to make a left turn onto Fifth Avenue when a 2016 Lexus ran into him. The two people in the Lexus were pinned underneath the tractor trailer and had to be extricated, officials said.

Police were still investigating the cause of the accident.
The crash was one of several accidents that occurred around Eastern Suffolk County on Friday morning.
