Two Pedestrians Struck, Injured By Out-of-Control Car In Brooklyn

Two pedestrians were injured after a driver in an SUV struck an MTA bus and jumped a sidewalk curb at around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday in Borough Park, according to reports. There was video footage of the incident.

The driver appears to have initially struck the bus before losing control of the car and plowing into two pedestrians and a storefront at 18th Avenue and 47th Street.

The two victims of the accident, both men in their 40s, were taken to Lutheran Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. They have not yet been identified.

The driver remained at the scene. No charges have been made.

Police are still investigating the accident.
