Newlywed Man Killed In Car Crash On L.I.

A newlywed man died in a car crash with a Suffolk County Transit Bus in Greenport, Long Island on Wednesday morning, officials said. Jeremiah Grunblatt, 42, of Brooklyn was driving with his wife, Keturah Grunblatt, 39, along Main Road, Route 25, near Safe Boulevard when the car veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a bus.

 

The wife suffered non life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the bus driver had a severe leg injury and a passenger on the bus was treated for a minor injury. Four other passengers on the bus were not hurt in the accident.

 

The newlyweds had been married for a few days and were celebrating their honeymoon on the Long Island Sound, according to sources.


The accident is still under investigation.
