Two Cops, Four Passengers Injured In West Village Crash

A police cruiser collided with another vehicle just after 6:30 p.m. in the West Village on Saturday, which left two cops and four civilians injured, officials said. The collision occurred near Christopher Street and Greenwich Street.

 

All of the victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to Bellevue Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

 

The police car sustained a cracked windshield and its front end was all smashed.

 

A police spokesman declined to comment on the crash.
