Construction Worker Injured After Fall At West Manhattan Site

A construction worker was seriously injured after he fell 40 feet to the ground at the One Manhattan West construction site at West 31st Street and Dyer Avenue on Monday afternoon, according to reports.

 

The man, whose identity has not been revealed, fell off a building at the 5.4 million square foot, mixed-use megaproject of Brookfield Property Partners. The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital.

 

According to the Real Deal, there have been nine reported fatalities at construction sites all over New York City in this year alone.
