Blind Man Struck by Train In Brooklyn

A blind man fell into the tracks of the Church Avenue station in Kensington, Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon where he was struck by a northbound G train pulling into the station, officials said.

“A blind male stepped right off the platform and ended up on the tracks,” an MTA spokesperson said. “The train did strike him, and he did survive.”

The victim was transported to Lutheran Medical Center in Sunset Park, according to an FDNY spokesperson. The Fire Department and the MTA did not immediately provide the victim’s identity or severity of his injuries.

The attorneys at Morgan Levine Dolan have recovered millions of dollars for victims of train accidents and other types of accidents involving trains and motor vehicles.
