Man Hospitalized After Being Struck By Tour Bus In Greenwich Village

A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a double-decker tour bus in Greenwich Village on Friday.

 

Devan Snipner, 50, was crossing the street on Sixth Avenue and West 4th Street when the City Sightseeing New York bus struck him as it turned onto Sixth Avenue, according to reports. Witnesses said that the bus’ wheels mangled one of Snipner’s legs.

 

Snipner was rushed to Bellevue Hospital and has been downgraded to serious condition from critical condition.


The bus driver remained at the scene. No charges have been filed.
