A Daily News truck driver was killed in a car accident on Nostrand and Flushing Avenues in Brooklyn on Sunday morning. Jonathan Long, 24, was driving through an intersection when his truck collided with a green outer-borough taxi cab. The collision forced the truck to flip over.
Long was found unconscious at the scene and was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. A 58-year-old passenger in the truck was treated in the hospital and is in stable condition. The 26-year-old taxi driver was treated at the scene.
