Delta Flight 1086 Skids Off Runway at LaGuardia Airport

Delta Flight 1086 was coming in from Atlanta when it went off Runway 13 just after 11 a.m. Thursday, the FAA said.  Emergency responders are on the scene after a Delta plane skidded off the runway and crashed through a fence at LaGuardia Airport.  There have been reported numerous injuries.

There were 125 passengers and five crew members on the plane and all have been taken off. The jet, an MD-80 aircraft, has a capacity from 130 to 172 passengers.
