Queens Bus Accident in Jamaica Injures Many Commuters

An MTA bus rear ended another bus on an icy road in Queens Tuesday morning, injuring more than a dozen passengers. The buses collided along Guy R. Brewer Boulevard and Mathias Avenue in Jamaica just after 8:45 a.m.

The MTA said a Q112 with no passengers on board struck a Q111 with more than a dozen passengers on board.  As many as 16 people, mostly passengers on the bus that was struck, were taken to Jamaica Medical Center.

When you are involved in an accident as a passenger on a bus, there are very special rules and laws which many people don’t learn about until its too late. There are very short time frames within which to file certain insurance forms and claims with the New York City Transit Authority and the MTA.

We have recovered over 100 Million Dollars for our clients.
