8 Year-Old, Noshat Nahian, Killed By Unlicensed Tractor Trailer Driver, Mauricio Osorio-Palominos, on Northern Boulevard Near Queens School

An 8 year-old boy was fatally run over by a tractor trailer truck driver on Northern Boulevard in Queens shortly before 8 a.m. Friday. The truck driver, Mauricio Osorio-Palominos, 51, was turning left onto Northern Boulevard from 61st Street when he struck the boy, who has been identified as Noshat Nahian. Nahian was crossing the six lane boulevard with his 11 year-old sister who was not injured.

Nahian was pronounced DOA at Elmhurst hospital. The truck driver has been arrested. The Newark, NJ resident is charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle and Operating vehicle in violation of safety rules.

We are currently suing several vehicle owners and their drivers for striking and killing adults and children who properly cross the street.  We investigate the entire accident and many times file law suits against other entities as well.

We are suing the Board of Education in the Shamay Braham car accident which killed this 10 year-old girl.  She was allowed to cross the street while attending an after school program in Hempstead, NY.  We also have a lawsuit pending against the City of New York in the Lillian Cruz pedestrian killing.  We believe the City did not properly maintain the pedestrian fence/barricade, allowing Lillian to cross at a dangerous intersection.

Just last year another child was struck and killed by a truck while on his way to school.  The crossing guard had taken a break during the busiest time for children crossing.

If a loved one has been killed in a motor vehicle accident, please contact Jared Levine of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
