Drunk Driver, Julien Prince, Arrested After Fatally Striking Willie Zachary on St. Nicholas Avenue in Harlem

A drunk driver was arrested after he struck and killed a 65 year-old man that was crossing St. Nicholas Avenue on Sunday morning.

Julien Prince, 23, was driving a gray Honda Accord south on St. Nicholas when he hit 65-year-old Willie Zachary who was crossing the street.  Zachary, who lived on the block, lay unresponsive in the roadway, and rescuers declared the man dead at the scene.

Prince, who lives in Canarsie, faced charges of driving drunk and vehicular manslaughter.

Regardless of whether someone is crossing at the corner, a driver of a car must try to avoid striking a pedestrian.  Thankfully this driver will go to prison for the killing of this innocent bystandard.  The family of Mr. Zachary should hire an attorney immediately to uncover any and all assets of the driver who killed their loved one.

If a loved one has been killed in a car accident, please contact Glenn Dolan of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
