Driver in deadly hit-and-run on Baychester Avenue, Bronx turns himself in

The driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident on Friday in Edenwald has turned himself in.

The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on Baychester Avenue. A white van struck a man and drove off, leaving him injured in the street. EMS crews found the man with severe body trauma and he was pronounced dead.

Even though the driver left the scene, his insurance policy would still be responsible for paying for this loss.  Most insurance companies try to get away with not paying in cases like this.  Hiring the right lawyer is very important to send the right message.
