The 57-year-old victim, identified as John Monteverde of Whitestone, Queens, was apparently struck while the car was attempting to make a turn, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened in the area of North Avenue and Vivian Terrace in Union Township around 5:15 a.m. The driver of vehicle was arrested and charged with DWI.

We represent many uniformed officers in accidents either on the job or off the job.  We represent firefighters, police officers and sanitation workers who are either injured or killed in accidents.  Unfortunately, many of these accidents involve deaths.

There are many complex legal issues which need to be properly examined by our trained attorneys in litigating these types of cases.  Our years of experience have resulted in over one hundred million dollars in recoveries.

If you or a loved one has been injured or killed in an accident involving a DWI motorist, contact Duane Morgan of Morgan Levine Dolan.
