MTA officer struck by car at Verrazano Bridge

An MTA officer was critically injured when he was struck by a vehicle Sunday morning at the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

61-year old Thomas Choi, a 10-year veteran, had parked his wrecker truck near the entrance to the Brooklyn-bound lower level of the bridge near the facility administration building when he was struck by a Nissan Maxima with New Jersey plates at around 7:45 a.m.

The attorneys at Morgan Levine Dolan represent many MTA union members involved in car accidents throughout the City of New York.  We make sure all benefits are recovered by these injured workers who are hurt in the line of duty.  Some of these benefits include Workers’ Compensation, loss of fringe benefits, and in certain cases, loss of pension funds.

If you or your loved one has been injured in an accident with a vehicle, contact Duane Morgan of Morgan Levine Dolan today.
